My name is Anthony Hobkinson and I set up Mediation and Resolution Services Ltd (MRSL) in 2020.

I am a fully qualified mediator with 40 years’ experience of handling both commercial and private disputes. 

I have seen the benefits of mediation many times first hand as a legal representative, as the client, and as a mediator. I therefore understand the dynamics of the mediation process and why people’s perspectives can differ according to their role and background.

Used properly and at the right time mediation is an incredibly powerful tool to resolve disputes, even when positions seem to have become very entrenched.  

A skilled mediator helps parties make informed choices through facilitating an effective and objective dialogue. That often means asking probing questions.

I am passionate about creating an environment that maximises chances of a successful resolution. On the relatively few occasions a settlement cannot be achieved on the day, then at the very least differences should have been narrowed and the obstacles to settlement reduced.
